Desire an absolute zero
This simple yet divine life principle is attributed to Lord Buddha too. However, life could not have been simpler. We take long time realizing that while Karma is definitely in our hands, the results are decided somewhere else. How many times have we seen people or even ourselves failing despite best of the performances and even intentions?
So what’s in our hands?
Only the Desires. If you can reduce your desires to zero, then even with small achievement, the result becomes infinity. And what is infinite satisfaction but total bliss, happiness. Little do we realize that what we call happiness is nothing but satisfaction of having achieved what we desired. While happiness is relative and case to case, satisfaction is absolute. And at the end of life, we realize that for whole of our lives, we were looking for achievements actually thinking it will onlygive us happiness.
What a waste of life?
