Dad wins the battle

After battling with three major life threatening diseases for past one year, my dad finally left the battleground and departed for his eternal journey on 28 Feb 08.
He left us to follow his impeccable ways of living with dignity, honesty, humility, simplicity and dedication to work. We shall always follow his footsteps.
I still can't forget his one gesture ever. When undergoing tests during his last admission in the hospitals, he was sitting on the chair and a young boy of 20 arrived who had recently survived a road accident and was in bandages and plasters. No one in the room got up to give him a seat but this man of 76, who himself had very little time to live and which he perhaps knew. Great man. Wish the world was like you, and it would have been a much better place.
